Brenda Frank

As Chief Transformation Officer, Brenda K. Frank leads the governance and alignment of the bank’s enterprise transformation efforts, ensuring they support CoBank’s strategic priorities and long‑term success.

Previously, Ms. Frank was executive vice president of the Farm Credit Banking Group. In that role, Ms. Frank was responsible for CoBank’s funding relationships with the bank’s affiliated associations as well as its commerce relationships with other Farm Credit institutions.

Prior to joining CoBank in 2021, Ms. Frank served as president and CEO of Yankee Farm Credit, which has since merged with Farm Credit East. For 10 years prior to joining the Association, she directed Farm Credit Canada’s Western Provinces commercial lending and point-of-sale functions. In that role she worked closely with the board of directors to create long-term business strategy and develop enterprise risk management and corporate planning processes. Ms. Frank’s 31 years of experience in agriculture commenced with managing the family farm in Minnesota. She has also held roles in sales and IT with Syngenta, and managed grain marketing and agronomy sales at Cargill.

Ms. Frank holds a M.B.A. from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Soil Science from the University of Minnesota. She is a Chartered Director from McMaster University in Canada and continues in the study and advancement of effective corporate governance.
